She is a founding member and past President of the Nepal Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (NESOG). She is also a Nepal Advisory Board Member – OHWW , past president and the advisor of Menopause Society of Nepal (MESON).

Dr. Sushila has completed her MBBS from Agra, India, DGO from Dhaka, FRCOG from Thailand, Gynaecological Endoscopy and Hysteroscopy training from Germany and India. She is the Chief Consultant at Valley Maternity Nursing Home in Putalisadak, and at Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali. She has worked for 37yrs at Maternity Hospital Thapathali as MO to Chief Consultant. She has also received Life time achievement award for uplifting Reproductive Health of Nepalese women. She was the former President and current advisor for Menopause Society of Nepal (MESON), and a Life Time Member of Bihani Social Venture.

Dr. Achala Vaidya

Dr. Achala (MBBS, DGO, MD) is a Chief Consultant Gynaecologist and Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department at Norvic international Hospital, Thapathali. She is the former President of Menopause Society Of Nepal (MESON) and President of Gynaecology Oncology Society of Nepal (GOSON). She has an MD (OBGYN) from TUTH Maharajganj, Kathmandu, Nepal -1997. She was awarded with the Young Gynaecologist Award (AOFOG) in 1991. She is also recognised as an honorary Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons London FRCOG in September 2020.
