Bihani Social Venture is the first social enterprise in Nepal to provide social engagement and psycho-social support and care to senior citizens at their homes under the Home Based Services (HBS).This service allows Bihani to reach senior citizens at their homes who are limited in their mobility due to their biological condition or simply because they prefer to use the service at the comfort and convenience of their homes. The nature of the home based service is diverse and the client and family are equal planners in choosing which specific interventions they want. The interventions are used based on proven evidence that it benefits health and well-being. Our Objectives

To address the issues of loneliness, dependency, and loss of confidence due to retirement, relocation, health status or family member’s migration or busy lifestyle, through social engagement activities

To address ageist stereotypes and create awareness on the changing demographics, the need for positive outlook to active ageing, and to promote age friendly communities where we want to age in

To create platforms where our elders can contribute their skills, expertise and economically participate through linkage with bazaars, like-minded organisations, companies and individuals

It offers the first senior citizens membership card in Nepal offering benefits/ privileges for various fun events/ activities (discounted and free) and range of discounts in diverse partner outlets like Tranquility Spa, eat outs like Baked n- Fresh, book stores like Wisdom Books and Aroma Shop and many more. Almost about 100 partner outlets have tied up with Bihani to provide as much benefit as possible to seniors in their own ways.
